ummmm... *makes mystery DM rolls*

Well, I got tired of waiting for people to agree on something, so I let falco open the door. You got an 18 on your hide check, and the orcs got considerably less on their spot. They still have their backs to you.

*roll*=17 yeah, too lazy to look up ACs and modifiers, but that beats any AC except (maybe) the boss.
so that's *roll 1d8*=8 damage to... hey wait a sec! there's no orc wearing chainmail XD I'll let you target the one wearing scale mail instead lol

You shoot the orc in the back and he screams in pain and rage (he's not dead yet though)

ummmm initiative rolls (I'm too lazy to add the modifiers this time =P)

Rhonal= 14
Ulfgar= 12
Hadvi= 8
Merrak= 6
Dracoloth= 4

I swear Rhonal coming first was an accident!!! looks like we don't have to do funky stuff with the turn order though... oh yeah, and since you said earlier...
i shoot for the orc with the chain mail. then i sidestep to my left clear out of the way for the guy behind me.
you do the sidestep too XP

I'm at school now and I'm gonna work till late tonight sooo... you may get a revised map by thursday afternoon XD

lets see.... if i did the surpise round, and thats over now, then i go agian cuz im first on initiative? is the suprise round over? if it is, then i will put away my bow and pull out my melee weapon - the quarterstaff. im proly gonna refer to it as a bo from now on, so dont get it mixed up with my crossbow.

sorry bout the armor mix up, but you knew what i meant.

if the surprise round isnt over, then whoever the other archer is needs to fire at the orc again and move.

come on guys post.

yay - i have lucky die rolls. jaegar - mail me your dice or next time i play irl.

I was gonna let everyone have a turn in the surprise round, so I guess falco goes next.

note: I'm a lazy bum and forgot to make the map

AR-MOR CHECK PEN-AL-TY... >.<

and for the attack, I mostly need the +modifiers (to hit and to damage both)

anywayyy... you rolled a 13 on the move silently, and the orc got a really low roll, so he actually doesn't hear you. It just kinda doesn't matter because combat has started and you're plainly visible (no, you're not leet enough yet to hide while attacking XD)

now for the attack... *nat 20* ohh, no need to look up modifiers, confirmation *5*. nope, no crit
damage... *3*+? I don't care what your damage bonus is, I know it's enough to kill him. You hit him from behind with your axe, it bites deeply into his shoulder and he slumps over.

I believe it's Hadvi's turn next.

note: I'll go make the map now

EDIT: ahhhh... you know how I said the map from outside had committed digital sucide but the inside hadn't yet? Well, the inside has too now. I checked, and a newer version of the software has come out, so I'm gonna install that and try it.

hmm.... from the door to the orc ( the one on the right) I see 5 diagonal squares which means I can use magic missile right? then ill do that, otherwise ill shoot with crossbow.

And teach me wrong from right, and I'll show you what I can be~~
And say it for me, say it to me~~

Your magic missile has better range than your crossbow, but both orcs are in easy range of both attacks (but one's dead now anyway). You only have... err >.< nvm. I was gonna say that you only have a few spells per day, then I remembered that you found the wand.

You cast magic missile from the wand... *2*+1 your magic missile deals 3 damage. The orc's definitely not dead yet. Looks like Merrak's turn now.

hum... I got that new version installed, but it doesn't seem to be fully functional yet... It doesn't save properly and has no undo/delete funtion, not to mention that you can't change the size of the map. I also can't figure out how to get transparent parts on my custom objects. other than that it owns ^_^ I hope it gets finished soon. Anyway, here's my (somewhat modified) map of the first room (now with 100% larger, uglier orcs XD)

You must view it full size the see the massive detail this map maker has >:D

Image

PS: too lazy to look up your original colors, you get all new colors. And the player sprites are a bit bigger than the grid right now, I'll fix that before the next map (I think).
