Our game went into "side story" mode for the summer (because some players go home for the summer), although it was more of a complete saga XD In the last adventure before school ended we interfered with some massive dimensional travel gate type ritual thing and we all ended up on Earth.

We were found by a secret government-ish organization (I'm not sure what they were) and imprisoned. Naturally that didn't last long. So we ended up on the outskirts of a city in a dimension we've never heard of wearing orange jumpsuits (except the skeleton who was naked because they thought he was dead). We all reacted differently.

Catgirl: Ahhhh T.T orange jumpsuit = bad. I need to steal some normal clothes.
Gnome: Oh yey, is that a train? I'm going to check it out
Crazed Skeleton: Police officers pointing guns at me? I summon my magical sycthe and cut them in half!
etc.

Eventually we sorted things out mostly, found out our rival group from Baladune (our homeworld) ended up here too. Several adventures happened including hunting down our enemies and stopping their (flawed) plan to get home, being eaten by a demigod and kept inside him for 3 years, rescuing the rest of our party from the Earth government, and finally dealing with our enemies plan to get home. This one was going to work.

Due to complex circumstances, the only way to leave Earth dimension is for the Earth to be destroyed (the dimension was used to imprison a rampaging god). So our enemies are trying to blow up the planet to get home, and we're trying to save the planet but get home. The solution was an artifact I'd been carrying for months before the Earth saga ever started.

The end solution was to kill all the bad guys (but their plan was in motion so we weren't going to be able to stop the Earth's destruction), use the Spear of Creation to make a backup copy of the Earth, and restore the Earth after we go home. And I'm the hero because I was the one using the spear ^______^

rofl catgirl saves the world by placing it in orbit of another planet in another dimension by using an artifact that the gods used to create the world. Btw if you think me playing a catgirl is weird, you haven't seen anything. This is the average situation with NPCs from Earth (we only get the occasional funny look on Baladune)

Skeleton in a black cloak with a scythe: *something ominous* (everything is ominous when the grim reaper is talking)
NPC A: Ahhhhhhh! Don't kill me death!
NPC B: Ahhhhhhhhhh! A metal demon! (someone has steampunk technomagic powerarmor made by dwarves)
NPC C: *craps pants and faints*
Bear holding a minigun: Huh. I wonder why they all do that?

Girl with cat ears and tail (which I usually hide when dealing with normal people anyway): *glares daggers at party members* Nope... nooooooo talking like sane people.

I've requested to be part of the first official diplomatic contact between Baladune and Earth. Unfortunately I'm probably going to be to busy saving the world (A war was starting when we got sent to Earth. And we spent 3 years there...)
