want both protector's gaze and ant sting as well as there costumes? heres how
Save first) go to one of them (I'm going to say the Antagonizer) and pickpocket her to give her full power armor, walk out of the room and go back in, she'll have the power armor on. Pickpocket her signature armor from her and give it to the Mechanist. He'll give you his weapon. Kill him for a duplicate then take his signature armor and give it to the Ant. for her weapon then kill her for a duplicate.

Didnt get either of the weapons :p (Didnt know I could when I was doing the quest xD)
Didnt wanna give the ant costume to the robot nubcake :p

EDIT: Oh and I like to use Hunting rifle. Well now Im using Ol'Painless but its modified version of hunting rifle :p
And Lincolns Repeater :p (have mentioned few times )
Now I got tesla armor and helmet and plasma rifle while doing the main quest so Im using those haha
For fun that is :p Those old weapons are still much cooler. (Cant get so many bullets to Lincolns Repeater though since its using .44 bullets..)

8109 lol i gave the ant costume away got the laser handgun and shot him lol got 3 out of the 4 items. the dagger isent that good but the handgun is one of the best laser weapons and is the only laser shotgun without exspansion

Lincolns Repeater is more effective

8111 yep lincolns repeater is awsome. everyone says DONT SELL IT
however its is NO MATCH compared to a alien blaster
i got lucky enough to find one it was cool since a flying saucer fell from the sky and loads of ammo and a firelance was on the ground

Oh. Lincolns Repeaters damage is only half of the alien blasters damage
Lincolns Repeater = 50
Alien Blaster = 100

8113 + alien blaster has a huge critical rate so it can mostly 1 hit KO enemys

plasma rifles are my favouret exspecally the unique one which you get in the android quest *whats better is if you do the right things you can get it and the perk (he gives the rifle then report him and the scientic gives you the perk with only a slight karma loss

8115 the best weapon is the confusion ray
no seriously you can take all there stuff if you confuse them

Smiling Jacks shotgun (dun remember name)= 80 damage
Lincolns Repeater = 50 damage

I like Lincolns Repeater more cause its more accurate :p
Ol'Painless is of course most accurate (it never misses haha[really Im not joking])

Have ya used big guns much? I have never liked them much. It just aint so fun.
Missile launcher might be good for those freaking deathclaws though :p
Its nice when deathclaw gets to suprise ya xD
Or Yao Guai... Those 1 hit broke my legs..

Dart gun is good when against Yao Guai or Deathclaw though
Aint so effective for scorpions. (they got so many legs :p)

8117 big guns are ok but never EVER use a mini nuke in vats your most likely kill yourself
small guns are good
melee weapons are only good against other people with guns *turst me *
unarmed authough it sounds rubbish is good exsepcally if you get paralizing palm *30% chance of 30 second paralize in vats*
but laser weapons take the cake for me
1st favouret Alien gun
2nd plasma rifle
3rd the rest of lasers
4th big guns and small guns
5th granades
last melee and unarmed
the only reason granades are higher than melee is because they have gotten me out of some tough situations

Nuka grenades are cool enough.
Frag grenades aint that effective. At least against super mutants...

8119 frag granades i find actoslly quite good expecally if your exsplosive is high
pulse granades are the worst in the game if not used on a robot
+ frag granades can instant kill anything if you reverse pickpocket them on people
