Well I had just returned from a trip and when i went on the LRO forums i read that the server is going to be wiped again... Here are the links...

Seriously, with three wipes (due to breaches) occurring in the last 9 months, I really have to question whether the LegacyRO admins are competent in securing their server. With these frequent wipes, I am extremely wary about spending any more of my time on their server; only God knows how long LegacyRO v4 will last before facing another wipe. :/ How does that saying go, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me...?"

These incidents only remind me how much I miss qRO. qRO lasted without wiping for nearly three years (2004-2007). Sure, it had its problems here and there, but there were no incidents that required a full wipe (just a few restores here and there).

I don't know about LegacyRO, but if you guys do decide to continue on another server, I would suggest one with mid-rates, level 99 max, not much customs (besides healing NPCs, warp NPCs, DB rooms, etc.) and importantly, a fun WoE where we can actually compete in. Ideally, a mid-rate server similar to qRO style, if one exists.

The major problem I find with mid rates are that the maximum possible level is generally over 99. This is rather stupid, because it causes inbalance.
I am at exams till Monday, so I plan to wait, read the forums of LRO and then see what you all are planning to do, then make a desicion.

i also miss qRO.. there we had some rolebacks but never a whipe...
id also like to go to a HR or MR with max levels of 99 / 70.

According to it's RateMyServer.net page, it seems like one of the few mid-rate servers that keeps max levels and stats at 99.

On a separate note, it appears that there's a group out there that is attempting to bring qRO back to life.

They seem to promise the same rates (5/5/3) and features (trans. at 90, warp/reset/healer NPC, etc.). However, I don't know if I would invest time into to leveling at 5/5 rates again, since time is something I don't have much these days...

EDIT: I took a look at FeelRO's WoE info page and it seems they have WoE spread out on four days, with two different castles open on those days. According to their server stats, it looks like the peak population is 691, which is probably the peak count from one of their WoEs.

There are already people trying to change certain things (i.e. no rebirth -> rebirth, no warp/reset/healer NPC, WoE 2.0 only, etc.) before the new qRO opens up in July.

If all of these changes are implemented, it really wouldn't be qRO at all; it'd basically be just another typical server with the qRO name slapped on it in an attempt to entice qRO veterans. :/

Now that's weird... I guess no1 feels like staying on LRO. Every soution is good for me, if only the guild stays together - I can change MMORPG, I can go qRO, FeelRO or any other. But lets stick together, okay? ^^
