According to
InventorSpot.com, a few contact lenses' companies have developed contacts that portray the big "anime" eye look. More info below:
Anyone who's seen Japanese comics, cartoon videos or anime art is instantly struck by the common look of the girls - big eyes that, by making the rest of the face look small, add the cuteness and sex appeal prized by many Japanese men. Since no amount of cosmetic surgery will make actual human eyes larger, some girls are trying another way to up their cute quotient: extra-wide contact lenses!

Depending on who uses the anime contacts, it could look either cute, or real freaky.

i want contacts but mom scared me of them when i was like 5
she fell asleep with them and when she woke it went like a bit up
so she like "omg its gonna get stuck in my eye if it goes all the way up! quick, angie get it out"
so 5 yr old kid touched mom's eye to get it out
so i always think it'll get stuck xD
but depending on who
big eyes can be scary

anime eyes anr nice and pretty cool...
but i am satisfy with my eyes and i don't want to have an anime eyes...
anime eyes such an over exaggerated thing..!
