LegacyRO: Updated WoE Coming Soon...

[GM]Itakou made a recent announcement regarding WoE on LRO. As suspected earlier, LRO will have seven open castles (instead of the four we have now). There won't be WoE on Wednesday anymore; this is to push max WoE attendance on Saturday's WoE. As for castle drops, they're adding some nice custom drops to the castle economy. More details below:

Please note that Guildwars for this Wednesday, Feb. 20 2008, is canceled. Castles will be closed and re-shuffled for Saturday's skirmish. In light of recent events and planed future changes, previous castle owners and the economy will be wiped.

As everyone should know, there are currently four castles active for Guild Wars. Over the next few months, up to another 3 castles may be opened depending on the state of the competition. More people and more fights means more castles. Also to promote European attendance, Wednesday's Guild Wars is canceled completely. Only Saturday's time slot remains.

Castle treasures will be upgraded to provide a bigger incentive for castle owners. Hopefully it will draw more attention from Guilds resulting in higher attendance and fiercer competition. There will be a few custom items added into the drop, items found no where else. I am sure they are something definitely worth fighting for.

Enriched Ethereal, a more advanced refinement ingredient compared to ordinary Oridecons and Eluniums. Instead of just upgrading the item it is used upon, a Enriched Ethereal can add permanently enhance the item it is used on, changing it completely. However, because of the technique has not yet being perfected, its success chance is very low and its results may vary on different items.

* Ethereal Valkyrie's Armor: 1 slot, all stats +2, increase HP by 5%, defense 8
* Ethereal Valkyrie's Shoes: 1 slot, increase walk speed, defense 5
* Ethereal Morrigane's Manteau: fee +5, perfect flee +10, luk +3, defense 4
* ...

* Ethereal Sunglasses: 1 slot, defense 1
* Ethereal Elven Ears: 1 slot, luk +2, defense 1
* Ethereal Angel Ears: 1 slot, int +2, defense 1
* Ethereal Deviling Ears: 1 slot, str+ 2, defense 1
* ...

Elemental Essence, dust imbued with powerful elemental properties. When refined with a weapon, it will permanently enchant that weapon with their respective elemental powers. Divine Right, a mysterious emblem that only appears to true Heroes. Needed for the Legacy Quests it will be dropped from the Prontera Castle only. Other key items needed for the Legacy Quests will be dropped in other castles as well.

With these changes, it should make LRO WoE a little bit more fun, as LRO WoE (as it is now) isn't as fun compared to WoE on qRO.

Less competition and cool custom items! AWESOME!!!... crap >.< I'm working this Saturday. I swear I'll be at the first March WoE. I'll try to make it up by getting some more equips.

btw, has anyone tried making/selling speed pots? Is it profitable here? I made a fortune doing it on qRO but the quest wasn't quite official I think and I only sold them when they were a new item.

I think speed pots will sell.. .donno for how much though... you can do the quest...

Jae, speed pots sell for 50k each, maybe more. Yes, its profitable but only if you sell during WoE times. You can do it here too
