Do You Leave Your Computer On All the Time?

Do you leave your computer on all the time? A lot of people that I know do, as they could care less about their electric bills and hate to wait for their computer to boot up whenever they turn it on. Cast a vote on one of the options and post why.

I personally take the middle road; I just put my computers into sleep mode whenever I'm not using it or downloading anything. The reason why I do this is because with the latest graphic cards consuming a lot of power these days, it's starting to make a difference in the electric bills. Also, since Vista handles sleep mode better than XP does, it's worked out quite fine for me. Computers wake up fast and I don't have to wait for it to boot.

Usually I turn it on in the morning and turn it off in the evening when I don't need it anymore. Sometimes my parents turn the PC off, sometimes it's on all night when I'm downloading something... Well It's really hard to say how it looks like XD

Parent's electricity ^_^ I'm also usually doing something. I never really "finish" anything. It's common for me to have Winamp, Zoomplayer, uTorrent, Firefox, and 3-4 instances each of Adobe reader and Word all running at once because I'm using/halfway through working with something on each of them.

Even when I go to sleep I can't turn it off because I have a hyperactive brain and suddenly I'll get an idea I have to act on NOW or I won't be able to sleep. I'm also too lazy to close things even when I'm not going to mess with them again for several hours (or more). I'm lucky to just remember to turn my monitor and speakers off XD

I mostly shut it down if Im not downloading something or not using it for few hours.
Parents dont even like if I leave it on to download something at night.
They dont like the electric bills

I turn it off, when im not using it. I only leave it on when im downloading something, but even then I try to not just be busy downloading. So I play a game or do something else. I never leave it on at night.

It is on when i work/play. I only leave it on throughout the day when i need to download anything.
