You have these classes to choose from (not all races can use those classes too). Most of these depend on what you spend your talents on (check WoW website).

Priest - Healer / Support (Discipline / Shadow Tree)
Paladin - Healer / Tank

/ DPS Support
Druid - Healer / Tank / DPS (Feral or Balance)
Shaman - Healer / DPS / DPS Support
Warlock - DPS / DOT DPS
Warrior - Tank / DPS
Rogue - DPS (stealth class)
Hunter - Range DPS
Mage - Range DPS

Im going to be retribution paladin (if I will even lvl it to lvl 70

Sweet, because I love protection. And the only thing I like better than a Enhancement Shaman next to me is a Retribution Paladin. Seriously they gel with Prot Paladin like you couldn't believe.
