Y-Corner V/LAN Party Dec. 2007!

Alright, it's been a (very) long time since we've had a V/LAN party, so it's about time that we have one! A lot of great FPS and strategy games have come out since the last time we had the V/LAN party. Vote for the date(s) that would work out the best for you in the poll.

Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM (Or whenever people want to crash. )

For those not in Minnesota, don't fret, because you can join in on the LAN games too, thanks to a little nifty (free) software called Hamachi. It's easy to setup; all you need to do is enter in the name of the network you want to join and the network password, and your good to go! Just load up the game and select the game's "Joining a LAN" option, and you should see the game. You can download Hamachi here: https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi/vpn.asp

Just as an FYI December 15 is football day (yes we are going to play football in the snow).

Troy said that any Saturday is fine with him so put 2 down for the 22nd or 29th.

Alright, I think everyone seems to be okay on doing the LAN on the 22th, so it'll likely happen on that day. I've already received final confirmation by Jesse/Troy. Dan, Ryan, does the 22th still work out for you guys?

EDIT: Found a new game that should be fun at the LAN party... Unreal Tournament 3. It's got bots (computer players) that you can play with/against in multiplayer, unlike other FPS where there are no computer players.

Yep, we have LAN parties from time to time, although it's been a while since the last one. We'll probably have one later in the Spring or early Summer.
